You can remove programs from Program Control if necessary. The firewall settings for the programs are not migrated from previous versions of Norton Internet Security. If you removed any programs in the previous version and do not want them in the current version, you must remove them again.
- In the Norton Internet Security main window, in the Network pane, click Settings.
- Under Smart Firewall, in the Program Control row, click Configure.
You may need to scroll the window to see the option. - In the Program Control window, in the Program column, select the program that you want to remove.
- Click Remove.
- In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
- Click OK.
